Founded in 2007 by Ryan Morgan and Robert Powells, the first Rocket Fizz store opened in Camarillo, California in 2009. The first franchised location followed in 2010 in Burbank, California. By 2024 the brand celebrated its 100th store opening in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and today the system has grown to 103 units nationwide.
